What does moving with Nieuw Begin cost?

When you get a fixed price

For a fixed price we need to know the situation well. How many belongings there are, what the stairs are like and where the van can park.

That is why we estimate generously in advance and charge for the hours we work. Would you rather have one fixed amount? Then we come and have a look at your home first.

How to read our quote

The quote shows the number of hours, the number of movers and the van. We estimate the hours generously. If you are finished sooner, you pay less. If there is more to move on the day than agreed, you will hear about it before we start.

Questions about the bill

What does a mover cost per hour?

€ 35.70 per hour per mover, including VAT (€ 29.50 excluding). The van comes on top, from € 36.30 per hour for 20 m³ to € 145.20 for 80 m³. Dismantling, reassembly, blankets, dollies and tools are included.

What does a furniture lift cost?

€ 145.20 per hour including VAT (€ 120.00 excluding), with a minimum of one hour. The call-out charge depends on your area and is listed separately on the quote. Whether the lift is needed, we can see in advance from a photo of the stairs or during the video check.

Do I pay a call-out charge?

Yes. The call-out charge depends on where you live and appears as a separate line on the quote. On top of that we charge the kilometres between both addresses: € 1.21 to € 2.12 per kilometre including VAT, depending on the van.

What if it takes longer than the quote?

We estimate the hours generously, so usually the quote is right or you are finished sooner. If there is more to move on the day than agreed, you will hear about it before we start. If it still runs over, we charge the extra time at the same hourly rate.
