How a move for older people works
After the first call you know who is coming, on which day and roughly what it will cost.
You get in touch
Through the form, by phone or on WhatsApp. We call you back and go through what needs to be done together.
A ten-minute video check
You or one of the children walks through the house with the phone, and we watch along via WhatsApp. A few photos work too.
A quote, generously estimated
We estimate the hours on the generous side. If you finish sooner, the invoice shows that too.
We load, drive, unload and reassemble
We reassemble wardrobes and beds at the new address. You show us where they should go.
Frequently asked questions
Is a senior move more expensive?
No. You pay the same hourly rate as for any move. Packing and unpacking count as working time, with no surcharge.
Can I arrange it for my father or mother?
Yes, that can be done remotely. You make the request, we call you, and on moving day one of us is the point of contact for your father or mother. Can you not be there yourself? Then we send photos of the new home via WhatsApp.
What happens to what is not coming along?
We set it aside so it doesn't end up in the van by mistake. Taking it away is not part of the move.
How soon can you move?
Usually within two weeks, and often sooner for a small home. Fridays and the end of the month fill up first. Does it need to be sooner? Call +31 85 333 2351 and we will check the schedule straight away.
