Three months ahead

The decision has been made. Now you lay the groundwork.

Appoint one person within your company to lead the move and make decisions.
Choose the moving date. We do most business moves in the evening or at the weekend, so your people can keep working.
Request a site survey. We look at the old and the new address, including the stairs, the lift and the loading area.
Within 48 hours of the site survey, you have one fixed price, with the planning per day and per department.
Ask for the floor plan of the new building and mark where each department's workstations will go.

Two months ahead

Arrangements with everyone who needs to be involved.

Agree with the managers of both buildings when you can use the lift and the loading area.
Do you need a permit or exemption for the loading area? We arrange that with you in advance.
Agree with your own IT manager or supplier who disconnects and reconnects the computers, and when.
Machines that are fixed in place are disconnected by your supplier, who installs them again at the new location. Let us know the date, so it fits into the planning.
Does the archive need to go into storage for a while? Agree on the period. We plan bringing it back as soon as you know the date.

Four weeks before

Everyone knows what is going to happen.

Tell your staff the planning: which department moves when and who packs what.
Give your new address to the Chamber of Commerce (KvK), your bank, customers and suppliers.
Update your website, email signature, invoices and letterhead with the new address.
Clear out what does not need to come: old furniture, old equipment and archive that can go. What stays behind costs no time either.

The week before

Packing and labelling.

Are your people packing themselves? Then please close the boxes and label them by department. Rather not do it yourselves? We can do the packing too.
Each floor gets a colour code and each workstation a number. The same number goes on the boxes, on the desk and on the new floor plan.
Let us know which equipment must not be jolted. We pack it separately and transport it upright, in a van of its own if needed.
Have your IT manager make a backup before the servers are switched off.
Keep the corridors and stairs clear, so the crew has free walking routes.

Moving day

On Friday after closing time, the old building closes.

At 17:00 on Friday, the last member of staff goes home. We are ready outside.
We load department by department, in the order of the planning. Benjamin usually works alongside the crew, so you are calling someone who is on site.
Fragile items are photographed before departure and after arrival. The contents are insured up to € 2,500,000, with an excess of € 300.
On Saturday, the workstations are set up as drawn on the new floor plan.

Monday and after

Everyone back at work.

On Monday morning, we walk through the building together.
Your IT manager connects the computers and tests that everything works.
Hand in the keys and access passes for the old building, and walk through it one last time with the landlord.
The invoice follows after the move. You pay on invoice, within 14 days.
Is there archive in storage? We bring it back as soon as there is room in the new building.

Insured moving

Your inventory is insured up to € 2,500,000

The excess is € 300. We photograph equipment and fragile items before departure and after arrival, so you know exactly what condition they are in.
